The Bruins face the Black Knights at noon PT today for the right to try to win two games tomorrow and one game on Monday in order to advance to the Super Regional round.
Army leads off with a swinging bunt single on the carpet. I hate turf baseball fields. Would have likely rolled foul off the elevation change from grass to dirt. Instead it just stopped.
I haven't had a change to watch many, but it's great that these are on ESPN (same with softball) because I haven't had access to the Pac-12 Network for a while, but I do have Hulu/ESPN+.
T6. Perez walks, fielders choice moves him to second, wild pitch moves him to third, and safety squeeze by Vaughns scores him! 10-6 UCLA. Small ball baby!
Bartoli starts for Army. Mullen for the Bruins. UCLA is the “road” team.
T1. Bruins already up 2-0. Walk, single, single, and an outfield misplay (error) on the second single by McLean. No outs.
Two out double by Army wiped out because the runner did not touch first base. Bruins appealed and runner called out.
T2 and UCLA puts two runners on base but cannot score. On to B2.
Two run home run by Army. 3-2.
UCLA with runners at the corners with no outs.

T4. Cardenas single, Kendall walk, and Silva sac bunt brings McLean to the plate with runners on second and third.
B4. Can of corn fly ball gets caught in the wind in left center near the track and ends up being a triple as Vaughns cannot get a glove on it.
T5. Vaughns walks. Cardenas lays down a bunt single and Vaughns goes all the way to third on the overthrow.
Sorry about all the spelling mistakes with Matt McLain. Gotta double check the autocorrect.
B5. With two outs, Townsend gives up back-to-back singles. With a lefty coming up, Savage goes to LHP Daniel Colwell.
Looks like a pitching change for UCLA with two on and two outs in the bottom of the 5th. Colwell's coming on for Townsend.
Whew, fly out with Mora pitching and the inning is over!
