Had not followed the incoming Chesney transition but noted earlier that he brought a total of 37 JMU people with him to UCLA -- some 11 players, a number of his coaching staff, and also some "support staff" as well. Not grinding on this; it's obvious (and refreshing) that it's best that they "clean house" and start afresh!

..no wonder there were a few rough edges that need sanding down! However, bearing that in mind, it's astounding that they've all bonded so well at this point. Perhaps speaks to why Coach Chesney has been so successful throughout his career. It's going to be a rough but rewarding season, I feel.
So, Frenk just announced he is making Harris permanent AD! Look out. 35 years with the Lakers. I not sure if that make him qualified to lead a collegiate-NIL focused sports organization? Or maybe it's right up his ally since he handled A LOT of the Lakers finances and was in on A LOT of contract negotiations. Perhaps he is the best for this job at this point in time.
He got out of the lakers at the right time given all the drama over being sold and the Buss kids infighting. So his ability to read tea leaves and adapt to rapidly changing situations should help ucla
