1st and foremost, "sun angels" is the dumbest idea i've ever heard. I hope they keep the 'devils'. 2nd Chip & company better be working on fixing those holes that were exposed by Fresno St. A team like ASU can use that to stymie our offense.
I'll do a kinder, gentler PGG next week. The last thing I want to do is make readers feel like they are taking a midterm!
Wish I had been to the 1987 show. That's awesome! I went to the one at Universal Amphitheatre at the tail end of UCLA Spring break in '90, touring for "Sonic Temple." IMO, "Sonic Temple," although their most commercially successful album, was not as good as The Cult's two previous ones.
Yaasss! I loved The Cult back then when they went from their New Wavey She Sells Sanctuary sound to their hard rock sound that began with Electric and which really took off with Sonic Temple and killer songs like Fire Woman, Sweet Soul Sister, Sun King, and my favorite, Edie (Ciao Baby). They were freakin great! Damn, KNAC used to play The Cult all the time in the late 80s. Also, their iconic guitarist Billy Duffy is still hard at work and currently has a great project with another huge rock hero of mine, Mike Peters from The Alarm called Coloursound that has a lot of later 80s Cult influence to it. Check them out. Awesome stuff!
Oh, oh yeah, PGG... Sorry.
1. 220 yds rushing, 220 yds passing.
2. 80 yds on 14 carries
3. 6 catches, 90 yds, 1 TD; 2 returns (ASU will kick away from him), 25 yds, 0 TD
Bonus 70k
Double bonus: I work at 2pm today and will miss the whole game this week...again. I missed all of last week's game because of work and it turned out fine. TxBruin sacrificed for the good of the NCAA tourney, so if this is what it takes...Go Bruins!!
Duffy is a way underrated guitarist. The Cult really reminds me of Westwood. Electric was always in the mix for college road trips. I love The Alarm so I need to check out Colorsound.
I think this game will tell us a lot about where the Bruins are and how the season is going to shape up. Not going to make a prediction about today, but I’m thinking about a way too early full season outlook.
While nothing is ever a certainty in the Pac-12, I’d expect UCLA to beat Cal, Arizona, and Colorado. Washington and USC are interesting in that they came into the season with some hype, but again, I’d put a W against these teams. UCLA could beat the Ducks, but I’m thinking this is a Loss. Which leaves ASU and Utah. I think we split these games, so I’m saying a 9-3 season.
However, a win today and I think 10-2 is on the cards, while with a loss, 8-4 is maybe more likely. I think with a 8-4 season we’ll feel like the year was alright. 10-2 will bring a different sense altogether.
Regardless, I think Chip keeps his job, but I don’t think there should be an extension either.

Sorry, no guesses from me this time.
I do not disagree with you about the petition. I actually read it word for word.
Sun Angels FFS what a world…
Let’s go 180 passing 240 rushing
Daniels gets 30 yards but no significant runs
Phillips goes 5 for 85, 1 TD, 2 returns for 45, no TDS
Attendance um 68,535
Saw The Cult and Billy Idol in '87 at The Fabulous Forum....loudest concert I've ever been to!
Trying to come up with guesses for all the questions felt like taking a mid-term....so only guess is Bruins win by 5....31-26!

No worries...those of us that went to a State School are probably just not up to UCLA standards. Keep doing an awesome job! Go Bruins!
My Guesses:
1. 219 passing; 165 rushing.
2. Daniels will rush for 42 yards.
3. Philips 5 catches, 89 yards, one TD; two punts returns, 29 yards, no TDs.
Bonus: 55,007

Then Stanford beats the Ducks, proving nothing goes as expected.
