He took all the blame for the lackluster game and level of play. Not one player was mentioned. Repeated "This is all on me" multiple times. Donovan Dent said in his post game that the team did not execute the game plan.
I hope this is a turning point for Cronin. He also chose to review a play with Dent after he was pulled from the game, showing a level of trust. This is a departure so perhaps there will be growth all around.
He also said, "I want to fire myself". A poster on another board said they wanted to hear those words from Marty. If only! And yes I do think CMC seems to have a higher level of trust with this group.
The defense was pure non effort. I think the players overlooked Eastern Washington. I don't think we'll see that level of arrogance against Pepperdine. Or some people will get benched!

As DD stated, Booker is a bright spot at the 5 if he can improve his D and protecf the rim.
