Watched the first half last night from the East Coast. Got to agree with Joe that the team lacks enthusiasm and is not playing anywhere near what it will need to beat Arizona. Also, Bilodeau should not be in the starting line up if he continues to be a hindrance to the over all performance. Having him play the four instead of the five like last year seems to have surprisingly made his game worse than last year. Looks slow and clueless.
Cronin said on the postgame that one of his "biggest concerns" is whether Bilo can guard on the perimeter since he's never really been asked to do that before, so perhaps he's trying to let him get more extensive actual in-game run doing that in games that are largely non-threatening? Just a thought...
On a happier note - really happy with what Booker has brought to the table so far - yes, he might have some issues with bigs with beef in the B1G but it looks like those same bigs might have troubles with his athleticism and range as well...
Hoping the intensity ramps up Monday before it really has to Friday
Very happy to see Dailey back in the game last night! I don't know what's up with Tyler, but hopefully he figures something out by Friday. The only question mark I have is Brown. While he gets rebounds, he offers very little else on the court, and I'm not sure why he gets as much playing time as he does. We definitely have ways to go to become a solid team...
Easiest way to think of Brown is as this year’s Stefanovic. He’s in the game to be fundamentally sound, hit threes, and rebound. He’s also the main backup at the three, so he should be getting around 15 minutes a game.
0/2 on being able to watch the games bc it’s so late here in the east coast

I think that Bilo needs to be benched. But Cronin often goes with familiarity, aka DA.
Bilo has never been super athletic, struggles on defense, and if he doesn't understand schemes in his senior year, then let someone else start.

All really good points, Clio.
I did, Rylan and am paying for it.
