Our Twitter Account is Back!
After a month of being in Twitter jail because of a dumb mistake, we've finally been able to get our Twitter handle back.

After a month of having our Twitter account locked in Twitter jail, I’m happy to announce that we have finally been able to reclaim our account. That’s the good news.
The bad news is it looks like Twitter actually deleted the account despite having been sent the proof that they requested that The Mighty Bruin is run by adults.
I admit that I made a mistake when I attempted to set the birthdate for the account to March 31, 2020. That resulted in an immediate lockout from the account by the site’s programming which tries to prevent COPA violations.
I tried for weeks to get it fixed. I sent messages to Twitter Support as well as Jack Dorsey and other significant Twitter employees. Apparently, the COVID-19 lockdown has resulted in Twitter cutting back on the employees who reviewed these sorts of violations. I guess, after one month, Twitter automatically deletes the account in question.
At least we were able to reclaim the @TheMightyBruin user name!
It’s not like much was lost. There had only been a few tweets. While I wish we could just immediately add back anyone who had been following us, it looks like we will need anyone who had followed us to follow us again please. So, please take a moment to follow, or re-follow us!
And, just in case you missed it, we’re also on Facebook! If you haven’t already liked us there, please take a few moment to like us there, too!
Thanks for a great first month! We look forward to many more. See you on the interwebs.
Go Bruins!!!
