I can't wait until Friday! I hope Pauley is rockin' and if all goes well, I truly hope UCLA fans will make the trip to Spokane!
These Lady Bruins are making history, and if they win the Nattie, they will be remembered as the greatest team in the history of UCLA Women's Basketball.
I love everything about this team (except for the turnovers, which can be fixed). I didn't realize this, but several players were ill during the BIG Tourney Championship Game which makes that win all the more amazing!
Hey, we have a Jaquez on the team and Lauren is simply a force. Great guard play, great leadership, great chemistry and heart!!! Plus loads of talent! 💙💛
Dawn Staley felt her South Carolina team should get the No. 1 overall seed; but unlike last year, when the Gamecocks finished off an undefeated season with a national title, this team has three losses heading into March Madness, including one to the Bruins.
30-2 UCLA vs AP & USA polls 10-2
30-3 South Carolina 12-3
What's her argument for being no#1 overall seed?
That's ludicrous that she thought her team deserved the no#1 overall seed!
Ucla 77-62 over S. Carolina
Texas 66-62 over S. Carolina
UCONN 87-58 over S. Carolina
Dawn Staley should be drug tested!

If they had beaten UCLA in the Big 10 Championship tournament game they should have been the No# 1 overall seed. Beating a team that was undefeated 3 times for their only 3 losses! But if and buts were candy and nuts.... we'd all have a Merry Christmas!
They've got a shot at us in the final 4 if we both take care of business!
I have to admit, at halftime I thought we were done and I NEVER give up! Especially with the men's team. But this team with Jaquez, Frosh Aarnisalo, Rice, Dugalic Gardiner, Jones, Barker, Dudley & of course Betts. This team has lived up to expectations and that last win should give then the confidence to beat SC one more time if needed, and South Carolina again, and then either Notre Dame or Uconn.
Uconn and USC are the best besides the Bruins and it would be nice to win the NCAA championship against any of them. But to beat Uconn in the final would be a great finale to a magnificent season.
Recruiting & legitimate clout to sustain them for the next 5 years would be nice.
I'm proud of them no matter what happens but I hope they at least beat USC on more time to make the final.
We'll see!
And the Baseball & Softball teams look really good also!
I know the travel sucks but its not just SC & Ucla having to deal with it.
Stanford and California in the ACC!
It's a shame that these great sports have become a huge multimillion $ business and its lost its innocence.

His name is on the tip of my tongue. I'm sharing this in good fun and hoping to bring back memories of.... I had discussions about him with other bruin fans who were banned or left Bruin nation due to the conform or be cast out structure. Subdivisions/Rush
It escapes me but someone will share it. Thanks for the help Joe!
(I think she has a point, Southern Cal probably should have been the #3 overall seed and Texas the #4, they just didn't want to send Texas out west and SC out east as #1 seeds).
Dawn believed the BSPN bracketologist. She is overcome by delusion 🤣🤣🤣 I do believe sc has a pretty easy bracket but I will be cheering for whoever they play.
The reaction of Gabriela Jaquez is my personal favorite.
To share a little insight into the photo, the best camera is the one you have available. I had packed my dSLR along with a point and shoot super zoom. Both cameras use a SD card.
But I managed to realize once I got to Westwood that I had left the battery for the dSLR at home along with the SD card reader I would need to get photos off the card and onto my laptop.
So, for the photo above, I opted for my third best camera -- my cell phone. Why? Because I could get any pics off it much easier than the others by using the internet.
Now, when I shoot photos for TMB, I always shoot in Burst mode. Burst mode lets me shoot photos in rapid succession by holding down a button, helping me get the best shot once the camera has taken it.
Usually, there are a bunch (read: hundreds) of photos to sort through to find the best one, but in this case, it turned out that the best one was actually the first one because it completely captured the joy of the moment. I can't remember ever capturing anything in the moment with the very first photo.
Overall, I think this is the best shot I've taken for TMB or BN since the one I took years ago of Osa Odighizuhwa when the football team was using the intramural field for Spring Practice That shot of Osa has long been my all-time favorite photo I've taken while blogging about the Bruins.
I love the photo. Gabs loves UCLA so much and her joy is as natural as her leadership on this team, She definitely represents all the greatness of UCLA. In the footsteps of JJJ, yet making her own mark.
Absolutely a perfect pic... sometimes when we are forced to improvise, the outcome is far greater than we could ever imagine. Bravo Joe! And thank you for all you do for TMB and this community 💙💛

Bring it Home! 💙💛💙💛
I'm surrounded by bots!
Critical thought is almost extinct!

Interestingly, I saw on KCAL that Lindsey Gottlieb wasn't happy that Southern Cal was the fourth overall seed.
That makes me happy 💙💛

This shot today may finally surpass that one.

There's more coming. I have a cute pic of Gabs and Joe Bruin giving a 4sUp with the Big Ten trophy among others.
Will probably publish them tomorrow.
Can't wait! 💙💛
