just got home from the Mary Nutter Softball Classic where UCLA destroyed Auburn 23-1...that's not a typo and they ended the game after the fifth...tomorrow we play two games, Nevada and Duke, then Saturday Fresno State and South Carolina then Sunday Texas A and M. I bought all 4 days. although, it was not chamber of commerce weather today. frickin' cold and rainy. by cold I mean 59 which is like the Arctic out here.
I know our WBB is loaded with talent, but they are demonstratively complemented with excellent coaching. The assertiveness, the unselfishness, the discipline . . . my goodness, they are such a joy to watch.
💯This team reminds me of the 1995 MBB National Championship team... all those qualities is what sets this team apart, plus they really love each other and Coach Close 💙💛
Seems like it wouldn't hurt at this point to sub out HC Cronin for HC Close for one of the men's upcoming games to see if she can make a positive impact... ;-)
Was anyone able to watch the game? Seems like good win. Looking at the stats maybe not great defense and off night from the 3? Too many turnovers in the second half I think as well
