Pathetic "Woke" espn , their incorrect bio for our Bruins.
UCLA Bruins
Ucla
Region: Midwest
Record: 22-10
Tournament ceiling: Sweet 16
[*Their proof readers in the editing department should be replaced. I know none of us are perfect, but they get paid to do their jobs. My beefs, problems with our seeding and reasons in comparison to 2 of our former pac 12 foes!
Oregon 12-8 24-9 7th place in the Big 10 (18) #5 seed? * 2 losses to us, at home by 2 and at Ucla by 26!
Ucla 13-7 22-10 5th place* technically seeded 4th for the big 10 tourney
Arizona 14-6 22-12 3rd place in the Big 12 (16) loss to us in Arizona *not their arena and they get a #4 seed?
None of this matters, but Cronin should harp on this team earning some respect in this tournament!] MS289

After falling to (Michigan [*State]¿) 🤭
at home en route to a 2-4 start to its first season in the Big Ten, Mick Cronin controversially called his team "soft." But the Bruins responded with the resilience Cronin craved after a four-game losing streak in early January, winning 11 of their next 14 games to close the regular season and play their way into the NCAA tournament. Their résumé includes wins over Oregon, Arizona, Wisconsin, Gonzaga and Michigan State. And the Bruins rank inside the top 20 in adjusted defensive efficiency, forcing turnovers on nearly one-quarter of their opponents' possessions this season. Tyler Bilodeau leads the team in scoring with 41% shooting from beyond the arc, while Kobe Johnson -- brother of Atlanta Hawks standout Jalen Johnson -- is the Bruins' defensive star (1.7 SPG).
[Michigan State? No we lost to Michigan!
Texas was 5-9 in their final 14 games! 19-15 overall?
Xavier was 10-4 in their last 14 games. 21-11 overall.
I looked at their records because I'm our region Illinois got the no#6 seed and they did beat us. So no beef their.
But #5 Oregon and #4 Arizona in my opinion do not deserve their seedings in comparison to our body of work and if course our head to head match-ups!
But we did lose to N. Carolina.
Many thought we didn't deserve a #16 ranking in that Cinderella run years ago. And that may have been the case. But that squad proved themselves.
Utah St. took 811 3 pt shots (36.5%) 10.7 turnovers a game (353) 574 ast 1142 reb *33 gm
Ucla 10.6 to (339) 523 ast 1045 reb
32 gm
Wisconsin if I remember correctly took 836 (35.6%) compared to our 668 (35.2%)
We can't get into a 3 point contest with them like Wisconsin
I'm not even going to bother looking at Tennessee till we beat Utah St.]
UCLA opens as a 5.5 point favorite while Tennessee is a 19.5 pt favorite over Wofford
It certainly seems the Bruins should win against Utah State. Tennessee, however...

Game is scheduled to start at 6:25pm. So there goes my excuse to stop working early
Looks like Nova going hard after Cronin.
Indiana just hired DeVries from WVU as their new head coach.
Nova likes Chris Collins from NW as well. Cronin is a 'dark horse contender' according to Adam Zagoria.
