How to Watch, Listen and Stream Minnesota Golden Gophers at UCLA Bruins: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio, Odds and More
The Bruins host the Golden Gophers for the first time since 1978.
Tomorrow, UCLA and Minnesota will meet in the Rose Bowl for just the second time and the first time since the 1962 Rose Bowl. Overall, it’s the fourth meeting between the teams. The teams last two meetings came in a home-and-home series in 1977 and 1978. In 1978, they played at the LA Coliseum where the Bruins won 17-3. It was UCLA’s first win over the Gophers. Minnesota had won the first two contests.
Tomorrow’s game will mark UCLA football’s first appearance on the Big Ten Network as a member of the conference, but the game will have a decidedly Pac-12 feel to it. That’s because the announcers for the game will be Guy Haberman and Yogi Roth.
Odds
After three weeks of increasing tougher odds, things have finally gotten better for the Bruins.
No, they are not the favorite in tomorrow’s game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. That would be asking a bit too much.
But UCLA is only a four-point underdog.
Here’s the thing, though. Minnesota is averaging three TDs per game and UCLA has been averaging one touchdown per game. In my book, that gives the Gophers a 14-point advantage. Give the points and take Minnesota.
The Over/Under is 40 points. That seems high based on what these teams are scoring. The Bruin offense did nothing last week to give me any reason to expect more than one touchdown out of Bienemy’s offense. Given Minnesota’s averaging three TDs per game, that’s a combined average of about 28 points. It’s going to take a lot of scoring to get this game over 40 points. I’m taking the under.
After the Penn State game, I’m now 0-5 against the spread this season. Because the Penn State didn’t cover the spread and the Bruin offense is historically bad, last week’s game missed the Over last week. Since I took the Under, I’m now 2-3 on the Over/Under this year.
Tailgating and Game Time Weather Forecast
It should be another day of near-perfect weather for tailgating at the Rose Bowl tomorrow. When the parking lots open at noon, look for it to be partly cloudy with the temperature in the upper 70s. It should continue to warm up as the clouds burn off and reach a high of 83° around 2 pm before it slowly starts to cool off.
The temperature should drop to about 74°at kickoff with clear skies. It will continue to cool off to about 68° at halftime. Look for it to continue cooling into the mid-to-upper 60s in the fourth quarter.
UCLA Depth Chart
After the Indiana game, UCLA has stopped issuing a depth chart for the week. So, until they start again, there will not be a weekly depth chart.

To me this is the classic both offenses suck so take the over!
I'll be at the Avalanche home opener tomorrow night and puck drop and kickoff are at the same time. Thanks for nothing, sports gods. I'll be streaming the game on my phone though and there may be a few awkward cheers in Ball Arena tomorrow night if the Bruins can build upon the better parts of last week.
