Join The Mighty Bruin 2026 Bracket Challenge
Are you an expert prognosticator? Even if you’re not, you can join the Mighty Bruin Bracket Challenge.
Yesterday, we learned that the UCLA men’s basketball team opens play in the 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament on Friday night against the UCF Knights while the Bruin women’s team starts with a game against Cal Baptist on Saturday night.
Like we used to do on the previous site, we have set up The Mighty Bruin group for our NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge.
Once again, we will be using Yahoo! Sports for the Bracket Challenge.
We will use traditional scoring of 32 available points per round. So, each game in the first round is worth 1 point. Each game in the second round is worth 2 points. Each Sweet 16 game is worth 4 points. Each Elite Eight game is worth 8 points. The National Semifinals are worth 16 points each and the National Championship game is worth 32 points.
There will be a brand new twist this year, however.
While we will just be playing for bragging rights, we’re going to make it doubly hard this year. Of course, we will have the men’s bracket. But, given the phenomenal success of the UCLA women’s team over the past two seasons, it’s about time we also offered a women’s bracket.
You can choose to play in the men’s bracket challenge, the women’s challenge or both. For everyone who chooses to play in both, we will add up the points earned in both brackets and whomever finishes with the most points total will be crowned as the TMB Bracket Master. Of course, we will still recognize the individual who scores highest in each bracket as well, but if you want to be the 2026 TMB Bracket Master, you will need to participate in both bracket challenges.
So, if you think you have what it takes to claim bragging rights this year, use the links below to head over to Yahoo! Sports to join The Mighty Bruin private group and sign up now! It’s still free to join!
Our groups are private groups. So, you will need to use the links below in order to join, and you will likely need to use the password listed below as well. It is the SAME password for both the men’s and women’s groups. The usual community guidelines apply and anyone violating them or trolling will be removed from the contest without notice.
