How to Watch #15 Washington at UCLA: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio and More
The Bruins host the Washington Huskies in a nationally televised game.
Tomorrow, the UCLA Bruins host the Washington Huskies at the Rose Bowl at 7:30 pm PT. After playing the worst Power 5 school in the nation last week, UCLA gets a tough test against the Huskies who are ranked 15th in the most recent AP Poll.
While the Bruins are 4-0 coming into this week’s game, they haven’t yet earned the respect of the voters in either poll. That means that they still have a lot to prove after one of the weakest non-conference schedules in recent UCLA history and the fact that they opened play against the worst Power 5 team in the country.
A win by UCLA tomorrow should earn the Bruins enough respect with the national media to land in the Top 25 come Sunday morning.
Keys to the Game
Let’s look at the keys to this week’s game.
1. Unleash the Beast
I keep saying this.
Last week, Zach Charbonnet ran for over 100 yards but he only carried the ball nine times. What could he have done with 20 carries? Chip Kelly needs to give Zach the ball early and often, if for no other reason than to keep Michael Penix, Jr. off the field.
2. Stop Michael Penix, Jr.
The UCLA defense absolutely must find a way to stop Penix from putting the ball in the end zone. If the Bruins cannot stop the Washington passing attack, it will be a long night in Pasadena.
3. Reduce the Defensive Penalties
Last week, the UCLA defense extended multiple Colorado drives by committing penalties. If the Bruins expect to win, they need to make Washington work to extend their drives rather than just giving them free yardage to keep moving downfield.
Let’s take a look at how to watch tomorrow’s game.
