How to Watch UCLA at Oregon State: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio and More
The Bruins head to Corvallis for the final time as members of the Pac-12.
Like Washington State last week, the Bruins have not played Oregon State since 2019. So, this will be the last meeting between these two schools as members of the Pac-12 Conference.
The last time the teams played, the game was at the Rose Bowl and Oregon State beat UCLA, 48-31. Aside from that game, that parallels between the Chip Kelly era at UCLA and the Jonathan Smith era are pretty interesting.
Kelly enters this game just one game above .500 while Smith comes in one game below .500. This game has the possibility to be the game that sets the tone for the rest of the season for both squads.
As if that wasn’t enough, this game is being played on Fox in primetime — and #Pac12AfterDark will be in effect by the end of the game.
Let’s look at the keys to the game.
Keys to the Game
1. One Touchdown
The UCLA defense hasn’t allowed more than one touchdown in a game all season. While it seems unlikely to expect that to be the case all season long, the Bruins need another big game from the defense against a high-powered Oregon State offense.
2. Man of Steele
UCLA needs to get another clutch performance from Carson Steele. The Beavers have a very good run defense. If Steele can continue to play the way he has all season, the Bruin offense should be in good shape.
3. Offensive Improvement
The Bruin offense didn’t really bounce back from their Utah struggles until the second half last week. They need to move the ball like the did in the second half against the Cougars and get into the end zone more.
