How to Watch UCLA at Oregon: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio and More
The Bruins will battle the Ducks, but the famous Autzen crowd will not be there.
This afternoon, the UCLA Bruins will be in Eugene to face the Oregon Ducks at Autzen Stadium and the game should be…interesting. The famed loud crowd that Autzen is known for will not be in attendance. So, that takes away at least some of the home field advantage that the Ducks have.
But, we also still don’t know who will start at quarterback for the Bruins.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson has tweeted that he does not have COVID-19, but it still doesn’t mean he will be available to play tomorrow.
While it doesn’t show up in the tweet seen above, Twitter indicates the location of that tweet was “California, USA.” So, at least as of 7:18 pm, it doesn’t appear that Dorian is in Oregon…unless someone is ghost-tweeting for him. Ugh. We’ll see tomorrow at about 12:30 pm.
In the meantime, let’s look at this week’s Keys to the Game.
Keys to the Game
This week’s keys to the game look a lot like the ones from the first two weeks of the season because they are essentially the same.
1. Defense.
This week, it isn’t so much a question of how well or how poorly the Bruin defense plays. Sure, that’s still important. But this is like the joke of the two guys being chased by a bear when one guy tells the other that he “doesn’t have to outrun the bear” and that he just needs to outrun his friend.
The Bruin defense doesn’t need to be the best defense in the nation tomorrow, although that would help a lot. They really just need to be a little better than a mediocre Duck defense.
2. Turnovers
Against Colorado, UCLA turned the ball over four times and lost. On Sunday against UC Berkeley, they turned it over less and the Golden Bears turned it over more and the Bruins won. The fact that UCLA didn’t give the ball away was a big deal as it allowed the Bruin offense to drive down the field and score a lot. If UCLA takes it away as much if not more than the Ducks, the Bruins should win. But….
3. UCLA QB Play.
Then it could come down to quarterback play. Will DTR play? Will Chase Griffin get his first college start? Will someone else get the nod? We probably won’t know until close to game time when Twitter blows up telling us who is at quarterback in pregame warmups. If whomever is at QB for the Bruins holds onto the ball and manages to control the game, UCLA will win.

Gah, I googled last night and all I found was that the game was fubu.tv online. Now I'm at work early today and I don't have the DVR set.
Double gah...Ben Bolch tweeting that 9 Bruins are out including DTR, Kazemir Allen, Keegan Jones, Martell Irby, Jaylen Erwin, Delon Hurt, and Kain Medrano.
But hey, my PGG just got better.
Sigh.
