How to Watch UCLA Bruins at Colorado Buffaloes: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio and More
The Bruins travel to Boulder to face the Buffs and new head coach Karl Dorrell, who will be back at the helm for the first time since UCLA fired him following the 2007 season.
This afternoon, the UCLA Bruins kickoff the 2020 football season when they visit the Colorado Buffaloes in Boulder, Colorado. It’s been a weird year. Spring Practice was cancelled. Then, the season was cancelled. Then, it was delayed until the end of September. Then, cancelled again. Finally, it’s back on again.
But, with two of this weekend’s Pac-12 games already cancelled, will the season even be completed?
Let’s look at the Keys to the Game.
Keys to the Game
1. Defense.
If the Bruins want to win today, they need to stop the Buffaloes’ offense. UCLA’s defense was one of the worst in the nation last season and that side of the ball has a lot to prove. Jerry Azzinaro is still the Bruins’ defensive coordinator, but Brian Norwood has joined the staff and looks to help the defense improve. It’s time to put up or shut up.
2. Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
Let’s face it. In his first two season as UCLA’s starting quarterback, Dorian Thompson-Robinson hasn’t been very good. Will DTR show significant improvement this season? UCLA’s performance today, and, indeed, this season, is likely to be tied to Thompson-Robinson’s performance.
3. Turnovers
The biggest intangible in today’s game is tied to both of the first two keys — and that’s turnovers. Last year, DTR was a turnover machine. Any time he was put under pressure, it was possible that DTR could end up fumbling the football. Conversely, the Bruin defense struggled to force turnovers by opponents. In a game without a crowd present, the ability to force turnovers will be critical for both teams and the team which does the better job of controlling the ball will likely win the game.

Go Bruins!!!
I am so looking forward to a Bruin football game thread that I won't even be annoyed by Beth Mowins for at least 1 or 2 possessions.
It's a good day.
