The Bruins conclude the 2022 regular season with a road game against the Golden Bears.
Tomorrow, the #17 UCLA Bruins will conclude the 2022 regular season with a visit to Berkeley to play the UC Berkeley Golden Bears at 1:30 pm PT. After two disappointing games, the Bruins will look to finish the regular season on a strong note.
The Bruins are now 8-3 on the season and are looking for their ninth win of the season for the first time since going 10-3 in 2014 under Jim Mora. After going 8-3 in the first eleven games this season, Chip Kelly is still under .500 in nearly five seasons in Westwood. UCLA needs to win tomorrow and their bowl game for Kelly to reach the .500 mark.
Keys to the Game

1. Score Early and Often
When UCLA has won this season, the Bruin offense has rolled over their opponents by scoring early and often, making it hard for opponents to catch up.
This game should be no different.
2. Stop Jack Plummer
The Bruin defense made Arizona’s Jayden de Laura look like a Heisman candidate two weeks ago. Last week, they gave up 470 yards passing to Southern Cal’s Caleb Williams. UC Berkeley’s senior quarterback has thrown for more than 2800 yards and 17 touchdowns. The Bruin defense needs to look like the one that stopped Washington’s Michael Penix more than the one fans saw the past two weeks.
3. Release the Beast
Zach Charbonnet has turned heads all season and he leads the Pac-12 in rushing. Chip Kelly just needs to let Zach do Zach things and the game should turn out just fine for UCLA.
