I will be there tomorrow, as I have been for the past 25+ years, but this time tailgating as though it's the last one in the Rose Bowl. I've only missed a few games during that time, even when I lived an hour and a half away.
But I am so, so tired and damaged from eyewitnessing firsthand the implosion of a top tier brand. That collapse really picked up steam during the Kelly years, but was nitro-boosted by Jarmond.
The move to SoFi will probably be the final nail in the coffin for me, sadly. I was happy to travel from the South Bay to Pasadena years ago. Now, I live about 10 minutes from the RB, but I have zero desire to travel from where I live now down to SoFi. What's the draw? A rebuild under Chesney, with uncertain results, in a sterile NFL environment? Yeah, I don't think so. And I'm definitely not alone.
I hope I'm wrong, along with all my other fellow tailgaters in Lot K, many of which still do trek from the South Bay. But in discussing with them during the Nebraska game, even though SoFi is much closer, they don't have any desire to go there.
I hope it's not the end...
Why is Martin still here?
It feels like we are the only school
on the planet that is holding on to the biggest Donut Head and Holes in the universe.
Other schools make decisions, and they rid themselves of ADs fast and efficiently.
The fact that we have done nothing is disgusting.
What is Blockhead and his Holes waiting for... never mind.
Bottom line, our Admin hates us and hates UCLA, or this would not be happening.
I don't know which stage of grief I'm in.
I am in all of the stages of grief at the same time... 😢💔😡
Right on and good evening, Tamara! My son is here for the Holiday, so my house is full again. He brought his puppy, so it's a three-dog night!

Enjoy the game, JF88! Go Bruins!
