How to Watch, Listen and Stream - UCLA Bruins at Southern Cal Trojans: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio, Odds and More
The Bruins face the Trojans for the 95th time.
Yesterday, Ben Bolch published an article about Ciaran Dooley. While Dooley won’t suit up for tonight’s game, his work could help influence the outcome of the game. That’s because Dooley was tasked with putting together a video to educate UCLA’s newcomers on the rivalry between the Bruins and the Trojans, and about half the team is new to the rivalry this year.
If the Bruins pull off the an upset tonight, Dooley and his video will add to the lore and the history of the rivalry like John Barnes and Matt Barkley failing the Barr exam.
Speaking of upsets, let’s look at the odds for tonight’s game.
Odds
The Bruins are 21.5-point underdogs in this game. If UCLA were playing any other team besides Southern Cal, I’d probably say give the points and take the favorite. But this is the Crosstown Showdown where the records get thrown out the window. So, I’m taking the Bruins and the points this week.
The Over/Under for this game is 59 points. The same concept applies here. UCLA has flashed the capability to put up points at times this season. This is the Bruins’ bowl game. This is high enough that neither team will cover by themselves, but set the records aside in this one. I’m taking the Over this week.
Against Washington, I took the Huskies and gave the 10.5 points. As a result, I’m now 6-4-1 against the spread for the season. The teams totaled 62 points, meaning the Over won. Since I took the Under, I’m now 5-6 for the season on the Over/Under.
Tailgating and Game Time Weather Forecast
It will be mostly cloudy with the temperature in the low-to-mid 60s when the parking lots open in Exposition Park at 10:30 am. Between 10:30 am and 2 pm, the temperature will increase to a high temp of about 71° and the skies will clear up as the day progresses.
From 2 pm until kickoff, the temperature will start dropping back to the mid-to-lower 60s even though the skies will be mostly sunny to sunny.
After it gets dark around 5 pm, the skies should be mostly clear for the duration of the game. As far as the temperature goes once the sun goes down, expect it to drop to around 60° at halftime. Then, in the second half, it will slip into upper 50s by the end of the fourth quarter.
