How to Watch, Listen and Stream - UCLA Bruins at #1 Ohio State Buckeyes: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio, Odds and More
The Bruins visit the Horseshoe for the first time since 1999.
The last time UCLA visited Columbus when the Bruins were unranked was 1961. That year, Ohio State was ranked #8 in the nation. The Buckeyes won that game, 13-3. While the result is likely to be another Bruin loss tonight, it’s not very likely that this year’s game will be that close.
If the Indiana game is any indicator, tonight’s game will be another national television embarrassment for the Bruins. Unfortunately, there’s just no reason to think it will be any different, especially now that Nico Iamaleava will be missing the game due to a concussion suffered against Nebraska.
Odds
The Bruins are 31.5-point underdogs in this game. To be sure, I don’t think UCLA stands a chance of covering the spread tonight. So, I’m taking the Buckeyes and giving the points this week.
The Over/Under for this game is 47.5 points. This is a tough one. The Buckeyes are generally scoring in the mid-to-high 30s. I think UCLA will kick two or three field goals. So, OSU will need to score about 42 to both cover the spread and the over. That seems doable. So, I’m taking the Over this week.
Against Nebraska, I took the Huskers gave the one point. As a result, I’m now 4-4-1 against the spread for the season. The teams totaled 49 points, meaning the Over won. Since I took the Under, I’m now 4-5 for the season on the Over/Under.
Tailgating and Game Time Weather Forecast
It’s not exactly clear what time tailgating begins tomorrow in Columbus.
At Noon ET, it should be a cool 62° and cloudy. It will warm up a little until the temperature peaks around 66° at 3 pm. The temperature will dip a little around kickoff to about 65° with a 35% chance of rain at kickoff.
From there, look for any rain to end and for it to continue to cooling off into the low-to-mid 60s by halftime, and it will slip about 60° by the end of the fourth quarter.
