How to Watch, Listen and Stream UCLA Bruins at Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio and More
The Bruins will play in the Rainbow Warriors in Hawai'i tomorrow for just the second time ever.
Wow. The last time UCLA played the Rainbow Warriors in Hawai’i, UCLA was only in its 20th year of existence, Hitler had yet to invade Poland, and Hawai’i wasn’t even a state yet. That’s how long it’s been since the Bruins last played a game against Hawai’i in Hawai’i.
The only time the two schools have played against each other in Hawai’i was in the 1939 Pineapple Bowl on January 2, 1939, a game which UCLA won by a score of 32-7.
Of course, Bruin fans probably would have enjoyed making this trip. After all, who doesn’t want to go to Hawai’i? Unfortunately, tickets for the game are scarce due to the fact that the Rainbow Warriors no longer play in Aloha Stadium. In fact, the former home to Hawai’i Football, the Aloha Bowl, the Hawai’i Bowl and the NFL Pro Bowl, while still standing, was actually condemned after the 2020 season.
Since then, Hawai’i has played its home games at the tiny Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex. In 2021, it had a seating capacity of just 9,000. The capacity was increased to 15,194 last season. For comparison, Pauley Pavilion has a seating capacity of 13,800, just 1,394 fewer seats than the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletic Complex. UCLA’s Drake Stadium with its seating on just one side of the stadium isn’t much smaller than the Rainbow Warriors’ current digs. Drake holds 11,700.
The good news is that a new Aloha Stadium is being planned to hold somewhere between 25,000 and 30,000 seats. But it won’t be done until 2028, a year after the Bruins visit Hawai’i again in 2027.
Odds
The Bruins are a 14-point favorite in tomorrow’s game.
Hawai’i was a 40.5-point favorite last week against Delaware State, yet they only won by 21 points. That’s about half.
In other words, Hawai’i was very unimpressive last week against the Hornets. Will they turn it around in Week 2?
To be sure, there are plenty of questions that the Bruins need to answer, but 14 points seems like a reasonable and modest way to start off the DeShaun Foster era in Westwood. Take the Bruins and give the points.
The Over/Under is 53.5 points. Ten of UCLA’s 12 games last season ended up on the Under. I’m sticking with modest expectations and taking the Under this week.
Tailgating and Game Time Weather Forecast
If you’re in Hawai’i for the tomorrow’s game, expect rain in the morning, but it should clear up by 11 am Hawai’i Time.
It should be sunny and a warm 87° at kickoff and it should stay that way not just until halftime but throughout the entire game. Even in the fourth quarter, it should still be about 86°. So, the weather should make all of us stuck stateside pretty jealous, but the weather should be perfect, if not a little on the warm side.

Ummm…I think we may have gotten spoiled over the years where Pac-12 Networks actually indicated which game would air in the Pac-12 Football in 60 format. At this time, it does not appear that Big Ten Network will actually be telling us which teams are appearing on a particular episode of Big Ten Football in 60. Well, that’s disappointing. Hopefully, that changes. You may or may not be able to stream the game after the fact on the CBS Sports app, Paramount+ with Showtime or Big Ten Plus. Right now, I’ve got no information on how to watch tomorrow’s game other than live.

I'll be at work (grrrr...) this afternoon so I may not get to see much or follow here, but I'll be with you all in spirit and will chime in when I can.
