I don’t understand this comment: Let’s look at the odds, the weather forecast and how to watch, but if you’re in the LA area the only way to watch is from a seat at the Rose Bowl.
All UCLA games are on TV in L.A. area. This game is on Big Ten Network.
Joe and DD work incredibly hard to keep our Bruin Fam connected through their work here.
Yes, the game is on TV. But Joe's statement is a call for every Bruin fan to go to the game at the Rose Bowl, because then you will experience the complete joy and beauty of tailgating and the game. And importantly, you will support our coaching staff and all of the players!
It's vital that we get behind our team in every way possible, and packing the Rose Bowl is at the heart of it!
Feels like a potential shootout - Purdue got 329 passing and outgained the same Wake team that Miami didn't exactly blow out last night, even if Mensah and Toney were pretty unstoppable.... playing to our strengths, we need to run the ball and keep their QB off the field - wear them down and pull away... Go Bruins!
My local sportsbook here in Vegas has had UCLA at -13.5 all week. That extra half point was enough for me to wager $10. Like you, I'm also 2-0 betting on UCLA to cover the spread and I did take the over on the Cal game. I stayed away from the O/U for the Purdue game.
I also had placed a $10 futures bet on UCLA at +75,000 2 hours prior to the Cal game.
I'm high on the Bruins, especially Chesney who has the vibe of young coach who can get the most out of his players much in the same way Vermeil and Donohue when they took the helm of the UCLA football program.
But until I see Nico and his receivers attempt and connect on some long completions, I don't see the offense generating consistence offense if the run game flat lines, We know that there are plenty of run stuffing defenses in the Big 10 and Chesney will have to find a way to get the passing game untracked sooner than later

I don’t understand how the most recent game before today’s game is tomorrow (9/20/2026)?
..he meant 1980..and, of course, the year before was 1979 when the Bruins beat Purdue 31-21 in the Mausoleum.
Part of the reason that Joe is not good on the over/under. 😁

Thanks for explaining that because that's exactly what I meant. If you are in the LA area, you need to start supporting this team in person.
This team is playing winning football. Bruin fans need to come out to the Rose Bowl.

Nico connected on some long completions last night.
