How to Watch, Listen and Stream Arizona State Sun Devils at UCLA Bruins: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio, Odds and More
The Bruins host the Sun Devils for the last time as members of the Pac-12.
UCLA played a bad game last week against Arizona. The Bruin offense couldn’t score and the defense kind of fell apart for the first time all season. To win tonight, the UCLA offense needs to score and the defense needs to completely shut down the Sun Devils.
Let’s look at the odds on tonight’s game.
Odds
The Bruins enter tonight’s matchup as a 16.5-point favorite. That’s a pretty big spread considering that the UCLA offense sputtered last week against Arizona, but tonight’s game is against the worst team in the Pac-12. So, that accounts for some of it. Like ASU, there was some concern as to who was going to be at quarterback for the Bruins. It looks like both Ethan Garbers and Dante Moore were able to practice during the week. So, that’s certainly good news.
I think Arizona State has a long way to go before they become competitive again. They have one of the worst offenses in the country this season which should allow the Bruin defense to hold them to seven points or less. Their defense is ranked better than the offense, but they still aren’t that great either.
I fully expect the Bruins to win at home, and it should be by at least 17 points, even if there is absolutely no faith in either R.J. Lopez or Blake Glessner to make a field goal, considering the problems the field goal unit has shown over the past few weeks. Take the Bruins and give the points.
The Over/Under is 44.5 points. I just don’t see the Bruin defense allowing enough points to cover the over and I definitely don’t see the UCLA offense scoring more than about 35. So, I have to take the Under this week.
After last week’s game, my record for the season is now 5-3 against the spread this season, having been right for the games against Coastal Carolina, SDSU, Washington State, Oregon State and Stanford while I was wrong for the Utah, Colorado, and Arizona games. The good news was that UCLA’s bad offensive game, combined with the defense meant the teams only scored a total of 37 points to cover the Under. As a result, I’m now 5-3 on the Over/Under, with wins for the SDSU, Utah, Stanford, Colorado and Arizona games and losses for the Coastal Carolina, Washington State, and Oregon State games. I declined to offer any predictions for the NCCU game.
Tailgating and Game Time Weather Forecast
This week, in addition to a game time weather forecast, I’m thowing in a tailgating weather forecast again. For anyone tailgating at the Rose Bowl this afternoon, look for it to be sunny with a temperature of about 75° when the lots open at 12 Noon. The temperature will peak in the upper 70s around 2 pm and they will start to really cool off after 4 pm.
After a pleasant afternoon around the stadium, you will want to bring some warmer close to layer on for the game though. So, grab that sweatshirt!
It will cool off to 68° at game time with clear skies all night. It should drop to about 64° at halftime. In the second half, it will remain clear while the temperature continues to drop to about 62° by the end of the third quarter and finally to about 60° by end of the game.
Depth Chart
By this point in the season, the Bruin depth chart is a bit of a cruel joke. Since it doesn’t actually reflect changes Chip Kelly has made to the depth chart.
Regardless of that, here is UCLA’s official depth chart for tonight:

I'm so happy to almost be rid of the stupid Pac 12 network. I'm guessing the Cal game will be the football finale ate least. Sadly we still have one more basketball season...
