How to Watch, Listen and Stream UCLA Bruins at #7 Penn State Nittany Lions: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio, Odds and More
The Bruins visit Happy Valley for the first time since 1967.
The last time UCLA visited Happy Valley was 57 years ago and Gary Beban was the Bruins’ quarterback.
My faith in this year’s team is waning by the week. Considering how bad this team is playing, right now it feels like it might be 57 years before the Bruins win another game.
The good news is that this is the final game of the three-game gauntlet everyone knew was going to be tough for the Bruins before the season started. If UCLA can remain healthy coming out of this game, things MAY get better next week when the Bruins host the Golden Gophers.
But let’s be real.
Tomorrow should be at least as bad of a beatdown as last week, if not worse. UCLA is going to get fewer opportunities to score and kicking field goals isn’t going to get the job done.
Considering the fact that the Bruins have one of the worst offenses in the country, Martin Jarmond is going to have to insist that some changes be made to the UCLA coaching staff at the end of the season if things don’t turn around quick.
At least we’ll have Gus Johnson to make tomorrow’s game feel more exciting than it probably will be.
Odds
The odds seem to get worse by the week for the Bruins. This week, UCLA is a 27.5-point underdog in tomorrow’s game. That’s up from last week’s 25.5 points.
Personally, I expect the Nittany Lions to grind it out on the ground and be stingy on defense. When you add in 100,000-plus inside Beaver Stadium, the choice is clear. Give the points and take Penn State.
The Over/Under is 46.5 points. That seems high given the Nittany Lions penchant for running the football. After four games this season, my faith in the Bruin offense is at an absolute low. I just don’t see UCLA scoring more than one touchdown and maybe a few field goals. That means, even if Penn State covers the spread, this game is still likely to fall short of 47 total points. I’m taking the under.
After the Oregon game, I’m now 0-4 against the spread this season. Because the Ducks didn’t cover the spread and the Bruin offense is historically bad, last week’s game missed the Over last week. As a result, I’m now 1-3 on the Over/Under this year.
Tailgating and Game Time Weather Forecast
It should be a typical East Coast Fall weather tomorrow in Happy Valley.
It should be partly cloudy in the low to mid 50s when the parking lots open at 7:00 am PT. The temperature should climb a few degrees to about 53°at kickoff and the clouds cover should burn off by then too. It will continue to climb and should be about 59° at halftime. Look for it to continue warming up into the lower 60s in the fourth quarter.
UCLA Depth Chart
After the Indiana game, UCLA has stopped issuing a depth chart for the week. So, until they start again, there will not be a weekly depth chart.

3AM for me, too early to start drinking, which is ‘how to watch’ the Bruins.
UCLA No Depth Chart: yep, seems about right.
This is the first 9 am kickoff I think I've ever seen the Bruins start.
