How to Watch, Listen and Stream Oregon Ducks at UCLA Bruins: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio, Odds and More
The Bruins' second Big Ten home game features a familiar foe in the Oregon Ducks. Will "Pac-12 After Dark" change conferences too?
After losing to Indiana at home two weekends ago, the Bruins find themselves in the cellar of the Big Ten standings, along with all of the other teams who lost their conference openers.
So, tonight’s game against the Ducks is an important one to keep UCLA from digging themselves into a deeper hole in the conference standings. Unfortunately, just three games into the DeShaun Foster, many fans are growing weary of the direction this team is moving in as the elation of Chip Kelly’s departure is resulting in the realization as to just how bad recruiting was under Kelly as the team struggles on both sides of the ball.
Odds
The Bruins are a 25.5-point underdog in tonight’s game. Ouch.
The odds are getting progressively worse for UCLA as Vegas is quickly learning alongside Bruin fans how bad Kelly’s recruiting was.
That said, even 25.5 points might not be a big enough for UCLA to cover in this one, unless our old friend, the phenomenon known as “Pac-12 After Dark” also decided to bail on the old conference and set up shop elsewhere. Give the points and take the Ducks.
The Over/Under is 55 points. I’m not sure how the spread could be so big while the Over/Under is set so low. The Ducks have allowed 14 points to their worst two opponents. While they are averaging 37 points per game, I think they will win by at least 28 tonight. That means they are likely to score 42, but they could just as easily cover the over by themselves. I’m taking the over.
After the LSU game, I’m now 0-3 against the spread this season. The Bruins were back on the Under last week, due to a combination of a forgettable second half offensively. As a result, I’m now 1-2 on the Over/Under this year.
Tailgating and Game Time Weather Forecast
It should be another Chamber of Commerce day at the Rose Bowl tomorrow.
It should be sunny and warm in the low to mid 80s when the Rose Bowl parking lots open at 2:00 pm PT. The temperature should peak to a high of 83° around 3 pm. From then until kickoff, expect it to drop a few degrees to about 69°at kickoff. It will continue to cool off a little and should be about 67° at halftime. Look for it to continue cooling into the mid-60s in the fourth quarter.
Of course, by the fourth quarter, the Rose Bowl is likely to have already cleared out. So, it may feel colder than it really is. So, throw a sweatshirt and pants in the car in case you plan on staying until the final gun sounds no matter what the score of this one is.
UCLA Depth Chart
After the Indiana game, UCLA has stopped issuing a depth chart for the week. So, until they start again, there will not be a weekly depth chart.

As usual, a very thorough and well written preview Joe. You do this gig well. I’ll take the 25.5 and the Bruins, and the over.
I never understood why people choose to leave a game early absent some kind of emergency. Some games at the Rose Bowl the highlight was seeing the band play after the game!
