If they don't win tomorrow, they likely aren't winning any more games this year. 2 of the teams they beat fired their coaches.

The only team UCLA has beaten which fired its coach is Penn State. Neither Michigan State nor Maryland have fired their coaches. At least not yet.

Sorry, I thought Michigan State had also fired their coach.

Not yet but Jonathan Smith has done poorly enough there that he probably shouldn't be on UCLA's list of possible hires, which means he could very well be our next head coach.

Heard Papa Nieuheisel on his Sirius morning show earlier this week say the buzz he's hearing bout the UCLA job surrounds current SDSU head coach Sean Lewis and current JMU head coach Bob Chesney, for what it's worth... have to feel like he has some ear to the ground, right?? He'd be a less expensive option. The regents did approve more salary money for a head coach. With this current news, it seems like maybe they don't want to spend that on say Jed Fisch.

Nebraska is garbage at run defense. I think UCLA will be able to run on them and control the time of possession. A true freshman QB is making his first start for Nebraska. Their OL is porous. For those reasons I think UCLA wins a close one.

Good evening, Bruin friends. I'm trying to hold out until the Pepperdine game. I've been sick, chills for the last two days and two auras this AM. For two mornings now we've had snow not thirty miles north. I hates it!
