Tonight, #17 UCLA hosts their crosstown rival #16 Southern Cal. Not only is it the final Pac-12 of the regular season for each team, it’s also the final Pac-12 regular season game to be played, period.
While Arizona has already won the regular season title, the winner of tonight’s game will finish in second place for the regular season and earn the number two seed in the Pac-12 Tournament. The loser will fall to third place and the number three seed in the Pac-12 Tournament.
Of course, that means that if each of these teams advances to the Pac-12 Semifinals, they will meet for a third time, regardless of the outcome of tonight’s game. Both teams have earned a first round bye, win or lose tonight.
That means that tonight’s game is mostly for crosstown bragging rights, especially given the fact that the Trojans have won the last five games in the series. Hopefully, the team is ready to end that streak tonight.
We want to win that game pretty bad. We know we’ve lost the last five times and that’s something that sticks into the back of our head.
I was at my sister’s (high school) game and UCLA fans were coming up to me telling me we needed to beat USC. We don’t want to let those people down.
That pretty much sums it up. It’s Blue and Gold vs. Ketchup and Mustard.
The Bruins need to win tonight.
Listen to the Game With TMB!
TuneIn.com now has UCLA’s games listed as “premium” content. So, rather than using TuneIn, you can just listen through the official website like we have done with the small sports for a long time in order to listen to Josh Lewin and Tracy Murray call tonight’s game. Tonight, Bill Walton is back working tonight’s game with Roxy Bernstein. So, you may not want to miss Big Red, or you might feel like playing the Bill Walton drinking game. Take a drink every time he says “Throw it down, Big Man!” If he mentions Coach, put your drink down. Coach might not approve of you drinking. Though he might if he knew how crazy Walton can be. If you do want to listen to Lewin and Murray, just be sure to right-click on it so that you can open up another tab and have it going while you chat in the comments below. Listen to today’s game online.
In the meantime, here’s how to watch tonight’s game:

I haven’t watched many games this season so glad to watch this one. So far I am liking the flow of the game, although there were a lot makeable shots that were missed.
I love Tyga, with that being said, getting a legit point guard, multiple pg&e, and a skilled post present will take him far. He is doing well so far, although I wish he brought in a PG this past recruiting cycle
Interesting. I need to do an update search myself. That term potential might get him into the league this year. It would be wise for him to stay for year two to improve his draft status
I agree, I think all that’s remaining is the pac12 tournament. I was referencing to what I am seeing on the floor today. Nice flow, good defense, and decent rotation by Cronin

A clap clap <br>
fight fight fight!
UCLA Fight! Fight! Fight!!
Let's Go Bruins!!
Go Bruins!
Let's see Jaime school Mobley all night!
Fast paced game to start
Crowd is really into it-- love the noise!
Singleton over Clark to start and no juzang
Josh Lewin said Juzang will be coming off the bench, Singleton with the start since it's senior night.
Got it-- thx!
Ahhh! Missed that. Cool!
Hopefully we will see him soon!
Riley needs to hit those wide open 15 footers. But I love our energy so far.
wow, not a lot of missed in the beginning of the game
Score stuck at 10-9 for a few minutes
Clark immediately with the steal!

Second time Bruin D caused shot clock violation-- go Bruins!!
Love this defense!!!
And the defensive intensity that's been lacking most of these last few games. Better late than never, I guess...
Awesome!
UCLA looks pumped! Haven’t seen them play this excited in a while. Hopefully they’re past their injuries
Jaquez is going after it!
I love Tyga, with that being said, getting a legit point guard, multiple pg&e, and a skilled post present will take him far. He is doing well so far, although I wish he brought in a PG this past recruiting cycle
Wasn’t the guy that tore his Acl a pg?
I believe you are correct.
McClendon, yeah
Thank you. Couldn't remember his name!
Correct, he was more of a combo guard. Tyger is more of a pure PG. From what I saw from McCledons high school tape he reminded me Singleton.
2 quick on Morgan :-) Jaime doing a good job picking up fouls on opponents again
Great D, Johnny!!
Jules!!!
2 on Riley
Time for Myles to show what he’s learned this year
Myles!! and then Jaylen!!
Oh, Jaylen....
Beautiful layup by Johnny
OMG Jaylen stole the ball while sitting down
How’s that a flop warning? He stepped on his foot right?
Total bs call.
There is no way Jaylen flopped on that-- he got pushed down!
He also stepped on his foot
Not a flop
Weird review. Looks like the ref instigated more than players on either team…
Ridiculous call, that should’ve been a foul on Mobley
Why we sitting Jaylen down after that great play??
did he get hurt?
Great D, Myles :-)
Jules!!
What a difference when Jules is hitting.
Jules!
How’s that a could on jaquez… you kidding me?
What is Walton talking about offensive foul?
Walton be smoking something before the game, I'm thinking...
Sheesh, I don’t see him going to the draft next year. The hope is he works on his game over the summer and comes back more polished
Peyton Watsons development has been tragic. I had high hopes for that kid. Now he looks like a project that’s not even getting playing time.
Yeah, he looks lost on the court most of the time. Hopefully he has a breakout year next year. He obviously has tons of talent and athleticism.
NBA scouts have Watson as fringe first rounder and definite second. Actually rates higher than Juzang.
Interesting. I need to do an update search myself. That term potential might get him into the league this year. It would be wise for him to stay for year two to improve his draft status
$C is having to work with sooo much effort on every shot-- love the defense we're seeing
Tyger!!
x2!
We really need to play Clark more the second half
wow... they called that a foul on Tyger smdh
Ball don't lie!!
Looked like a travel before the pass
Oh it definitely was; he totally shuffled his feet
That's enough fun for me, good night, Mighty Bruins. Go Bruins!
Until next time!
Love how Coach K lost his final game at home, and in such a fashion!
Overall great half. Jules hitting his shots, we didn't rely on the 3, and strong defense. Need to keep up the intensity.
And stay out of foul trouble!!
I just want to see them look March ready. They are obviously a better team than usc, to take your foot off the peddle.
We need to establish a run of wins pre-Dance to ensure a nice seed. Then we're March ready.
I agree, I think all that’s remaining is the pac12 tournament. I was referencing to what I am seeing on the floor today. Nice flow, good defense, and decent rotation by Cronin
Agreed-- if we show this in the Dance, no one wants to face us!
Dammit, Riley, you gotta make those!!
Riley needs to convert.
This start is opposite of beginning of game; both teams not hitting baskets
