How to Watch Alabama State at UCLA: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio and More
The Bruins host the Hornets as UCLA plays their first game against an FCS school.
Tomorrow, the UCLA Bruins host the Alabama State Hornets at the Rose Bowl. There should be no doubt as to the outcome of this game. While new head coach Eddie Robinson, Jr. has the Hornets off to a 2-0 start, Bama State is an FCS school and losing this game, or even letting them stay in the game longer than expected, would be a huge embarassment for Chip Kelly’s program. But the possibility of rain between tonight and tomorrow could play havoc on those expectations.
Keys to the Game
The keys to this week’s game are pretty simple.
1. Let Charbonnet Be Charbonnet.
Last week, the Bruins didn’t give the ball to Zach Charbonnet as much as expected. That could have been due to the heat, but the heat won’t be a problem tomorrow. In fact, with the possibility for a wet field, running the ball may be the best way to go.
2. Stop the Run.
Alabama State prefers to run the ball more than they like to pass. If the defense wants to shutout the Hornets, they will need to stop the run.
3. Overcome the Elements
While I like to joke that it NEVER rains inside the Rose Bowl, and the chances of rain during the game look to diminish as the afternoon progresses, the weather could be a factor for the second straight week. Will a wet field pose a problem for either team? We will have to see tomorrow.
Let’s take a look at how to watch tomorrow’s game.
