Earlier this week, I was a guest on the Heartland Sports Sooner Nation podcast with host Matt Hofeld. Matt asked me to join him to discuss what the Sooners are getting with the transfers of Theo Howard and Christaphany Murray.
Of course, not being one to pull punches, I was sure to mention just how much the loss of these two Bruins makes and, in the case of Howard, has already made Chip Kelly’s already-floundering job that much harder.
We also discussed a little bit of a look at quarterback for the Bruins. Being a Sooner podcast, it is certainly focused on what the Sooners are getting in these two student-athletes but, from a Bruin perspective, it’s important to realize just how much the loss of these two key players hurts UCLA.
