Sad but this UCLA football program is mirroring Karl Dorrell’s current program at Colorado. Nothing has changed at UCLA since Dorrell’s exit from UCLA. History repeats its self again and again.
Is someone finally saying something about the talent level and not just the coaching? The info is readily available about the need of 4 and 5-star players to compete nationally on a top-10 or even 25 level. The recruiting continues to be mediocre at best and the strategy is now a pipe-dream in Chip's mind.
Kudos for replaying this mess, DD. We're grateful your mom raised a glutton for punishment (hi Dimitri's mom). It's pretty clear that this team/staff is not just wildly inconsistent. Well, they are, but it's also clear the ceiling is just not high enough, which speaks to the limits of both the coaching staff and overall recruiting. And I don't see that getting any better under the current leadership. Which means that Jarmond is gonna have to make some moves. Which means, here we go again...
I hate to be presumptuous, but if I had to guess a theme song for this week, or, hopefully not the season, it seems like Talking Heads "Once in a Lifetime" comes to mind...
The last four (?) coaches fired all lost to Arizona in their final year. I guess if we lose that’s a moral victory? Ugh…

Oh. Thank you for your observations. Spot on eye test. Appreciate it.

How about that coach in Cincinnati?

Just fire Chip Kelly. He's a con artist.
