It's definitely time to move on and sooner rather than later. Today would be a good day. When I went to the Rose Bowl like 1990-2015 I seem to recall the team regularly drew 60-80 thousand and some games (Alabama, Michigan, $C) drew in excess of 90,000. I can't imagine what it's like with only 25,000 there. BB in a boxcar territory. Plus the parking lot (golf course wtaf but still a nice place to park and tailgate) must be less than half full these days.

Joe and DD analyses surpass AI once again. Joe's opponent preview breakdown and SMQB, and DD's Eye Test are the best part of Bruins football, and exhibit greater thought and preparation than that by the coaching staff.

This is a great analysis Dimitri. Thank you so much. FYI. I received a response today regarding my email requesting the UCLA administration to rid themselves of our “athletic director”. They simply ignored my concerns and shared they were centering on hiring a “new head coach who will evaluate UCLA Football to national prominence”. It was signed: Executive/Strategic Communications. No person title. Just a canned BS communication. Glad I’m not a big donor. If I was I would demand every donation penny for reimbursement.

Even Wayne Cook was on fire tonight about the nighmare at Morgan. The clock punchers, the toxic administrators, the spineless wimps who hide in their office. The lack of even one voice that shows an ounce of conviction.

Wayne didn't name names but he didn't have to.. he was on the Zoom call when it was the former UCLA greats vs. the squirming Jelly 2.0...

Jelly 2.0 exposed to their faces what a blatant fraud and loser he is... I mean the players already knew but this time they told Jelly 2.0 exactly what they thought and it wasn't pretty. We have a long lineage of players who love UCLA and have had more than enough of Jelly 2.0.

Wayne also stated in so many words that Skippy aka Peanut Butter 1.0 (bro to Jelly 2.0) doesn't know WTH he is doing...

PB 1.0 is only interested in his next coaching gig vs developing players. Wayne was literally yelling at him as PB 1.0 pulled running back after running back never allowing them to get in rhythm.

PB 1.0 has a lot of cheerleader antics but they are already old... no substance just another self absorbed ego. 'So long chief' can't happen soon enough.

💙💛

I will watch the game and be on the thread for a couple reasons... I love the Bruin Fam and our conversations, I really want to see Jerry succeed, and my blue and gold heart can't help it...

If ANYONE deserves to rage about the crap going on in the UCLA Athletic Department, it's Wayne Cook!

A review of his struggles and as a star-crossed Bruin quarterback in the 90s, reveals a young man who fought off injuries and plain bad luck to emerge a winner. (Mr Cook was 13-10 as a QB and ranks 3rd behind Tom Ramsey and Troy Aikman in TD passes. )

His whole career, including his attempts to make it in the bigs, spells pure grit!

War,

Wayne is a treasure and he teaches middle school so his grit is now part of the classroom! More than anything, he is angry at the bankrupt (character and $$$) administration. You know how much the toxic culture has spread when he even criticized the cheerleaders for showing no 'grit.'

He also stated that if Coach Donahue had the support he needed, UCLA would have been so much greater than they were, and that was with Chuck's presence on the sideline yelling calls in Terry's ear! 🤣

Just unrolled the inbox and read Dimitri's piece and am digesting the BRO and LAT pieces on The Fetus! Ordinarily, I'd say merciless but, in fact, no quarter is exactly what this poseur deserves.

Too often, we are sympathetic to the coaches who have not achieved glory for us. Same for the ADs and their minions.

Bravo Sierra!

These folks are taking "our" money (either in the form of misspent contributions to UCLA athletics or misappropriated tax dollars that somehow leak into UCLA athletics). While no attorney, I gotta tell you that their backing up to the pay window to collect their sizeable paychecks borders on fraud and theft.

Anyway, I am going to wade through Dimitri's marvelous Eye Test essay and the BRO and LAT citations. But, a preliminary scan tells me that the tremors for this thief to not only "read the room" but to "leave the room" are bumping the seismograph needle pretty hard up at JPL.

Dimitri, I think this slime ball is on his way out. a lot earlier that you predicted.
