The scariest sentence in this whole piece is the one that sounds like a compliment. UCLA left a lot of meat on the bones and still won 54-3. Teams that need their A game to win by fifty are September stories. Teams that do it with a B-plus and a pedestrian afternoon from their star quarterback are the ones that ruin Octobers. Four hundred seventy-five yards and forty offensive points when Nico did not have to be Superman - that is what depth looks like, and depth is what travels. Chesney the first coach since the 1940s to start 4-0, the Bruins back in the Top 25, and the Locksley era likely over before the buses left the parking lot. I wrote before the game that it was an obituary with a kickoff time. Oregon in Eugene on the 10th is the exam. Go Bruins.
Not saying we will, but Oregon and USC are probably the toughest games left on our schedule and neither is really that good. I'm interested to see how we fair next week. We're currently 12.5 point underdogs. We can score points.
Past performance is no guarantee of future success. This saying is very true this season. After beating Ole Miss, Florida is getting trounced by Missouri.
Greg Luca, Florida Gator grad and writer for a San Antonio paper, has moved Miss St up from #18 to #10 in the AP ballot after they lost by 33 points to Alabama. Eight spots UP after losing by 33. These SEC sycophants aren’t even trying to hide the bias anymore. Undefeated Nebraska is unranked. The grift stinks…
At least the AP poll had $c going down unlike the coaches' poll that had them going up after barely beating Washington. More evidence that too many coaches don't pay any attention to the games played.
The coaches are not the ones filling out that poll, it is usually left to some staffer or university SID, which isn't much better but is also a reason why the poll in general has fallen out of favor.

I watched the Michigan Minnesota game this morning. We should beat both of them.

Wisconsin game is becoming more interesting.
Good observation.
Both are going to be tough road games in potential weather against really good defenses but I agree that both should not at all be beyond us.
Maryland hanging with Nebraska in Lincoln at halftime by the way...

We should all be OUTRAGED!
