Great read! Really enjoyed it. Years ago when Mike used to be brought out to the stadium, I saw him on TV. The cheerleaders were surrounding the wheeled enclosure (kind of like a wagon), and some were even sitting on top of it with their legs hanging down the sides. Now I am sure there was plexiglass or something, but I turned to my husband and said "Those people are crazy! That thing is huge!" Thank you for sharing Mike's story, especially how well he is care for.
By the way, I went to game in the Big House a couple years back, and had the opposite problem! It was 8 below! So different from the Rose Bowl. It took me two hours before I got feeling back in my hands!
That's awesome that you had a great experience at LSU and with the ATVS peeps. I remember interacting with them a (long) ways back when we crossed paths in the baseball playoffs, or maybe it was the CWS? They seemed like good people and they ran a great site.
(Actual football comment: bottle that first half, keep things simple, continue growing)
Great read about the experience, Dimitri. Less said about the game the better. I love our Joe, but Mike is magnificent!
Good to see our sissy blue make a respectable showing vs LSU.
Watching the band walk in is one of the highlights of every college game I ever attended!
Nothing like a top notch drum line either. Such a highlight of my game experiences.
This was a great read, thank you!
Question on the grade, F (.6), how is that possible when all of the individual scores were above .6?
Overall an F I think...but hope springs eternal amirite.
more like a C- if you add up the scores = 1.85
