Finally we live to see the day when UCLA triumphs on the field. Michigan State is no cake walk. Wisconsin bear them handily. Bruins should follow suit.
I didn't see any Wisconsin fans in the game thread.....but, in my opinion, the officiating was poor DD......No, we had our experience on this site with a rabid Wisconsin fan who was a Horse's A** a year or two back, so I know what you mean, but I would hope he was not indicative of any significant portion of the fanase......I assume your experiences with the Wisconsin fanbase have told you otherwise?
It was an ugly game.... but still a good game for ucla.......this could have been a let down game, given the "burn the boats" effort by coaches and players against Oregon. Plus, Wisconson had two weeks to prepare for us.....decided to stop the run and Wayne and see if we could deal with that adversity, and we did....it wasn't pretty, but as physical as Wisconson was......, we were better........we were resilient.......we won the 4th quarter again and won the game......I think we need to continue to build this team's diversity on offense....we need to really work on the passing game, involving both backs and tight ends, with patterns down field in the seams and with wheel routes (not just on the flats), so that D-coordinators won't think that all they have to do is stop the run and then we won't score......if we develop our passing game, it will re-open our running game.........and this team will go far given its mental toughness.......
