2026 NCAA March Madness Selection Sunday: How to Watch and Stream
The UCLA women's and men's basketball teams both find out their respective seedings for the NCAA Basketball tournaments today.

Today is one of the best days in March. It’s Selection Sunday, the day that 68 men’s and 68 women’s basketball teams across the country find out their NCAA tournament seeding and who they will play in the first round, and possibly subsequent rounds if they can keep winning.
After the UCLA men’s team made it to the Big Ten semifinals, they may be locked in for a #7 seed somewhere.
Meanwhile, the UCLA women’s team is certain to be a #1 seed somewhere. The big question is: Can the Bruins repeat last year’s accomplishment of earning the overall #1 seed? Unfortunately, UConn, who beat the Bruins in the Women’s Final Four last season finished the season undefeated, so it may not happen. However, we saw some cracks this week as the Bruins finally picked up three first place votes in the AP Top 25 Poll following their 96-45 annihilation of Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament championship game. Overall, the Bruins played a much, much tougher schedule than the Huskies, but the defending champs are still the undefeated defending champs, at least until some team beats them. Who might that be?
Well, if I had to guess, I would think the Bruins will be seeded second overall and probably won’t face UConn until the national championship game if both teams get that far.
Of course, I could be wrong. We’ll find out later this afternoon.
The schedule for this afternoon is the same as in years past. Immediately following the Big Ten Championship Game between Michigan and Purdue, the men’s team will find out who and where they will play between 3 pm and 4 pm PT on CBS. The women’s team will find out who they will play a little later between 5 pm and 6 pm on ESPN.
As I write this, it looks as though it’s still possible to purchase tickets to the Champion of Westwood Selection Sunday Watch Party event. Admittedly, I don’t have all the details as to when that will be shut off or if tickets can be purchased at the door, but if you are able to complete the purchase, I would bring your receipt with you.
This is your NCAA March Madness Selection Sunday open thread.

Good luck to both teams!
I'm much more invested in the women's seeding and likely matchups today. I'd expect our women to end up v UConn in the finals, but the committee has never looked on our Bruins favorably. I wouldn't be the least bit shocked to see overall seeds 5/6 and 9/10 somehow appearing in the Bruins quadrant.
