💯Winning this championship was so uplifting. Al Skates was there 💙💛 I had the chance to visit with him at a UCLA football game and he is such a gentleman. John Speraw is a legend in the making and a total class act. The team was a breathe of fresh air and absolutely amazing! 💙💛 What a great day!!!
UCLA beat a very good but not great LBSU in a tough, scrappy championship match in which neither team looked as offensively efficient as they had previously. Credit the defensive intensity in part, but neither team was at its best, and Long Beach needed to be at its best to beat a superior, more experienced Bruins squad.
Although UCLA will be losing some big contributors next year, there is no shortage of talented players in the program. Don’t be surprised to see the Bruins in the 2025 tournament as they push for a three-peat.

Good luck to our ladies beach volleyball tomorrow. Would be so sweet to beat SC especially after they upset us last year.
